Spore Expansion Packs Announced

Ars Technica tells us that EA has confirmed two new expansion packs for Spore will be sold, one of them as early as November. The Creepy & Cute Parts Pack will provide players of both Spore and the Creature Creator 100 new parts to their game, while the expansion coming out next spring (Spring 2009) will allow you to leave your spaceship and explore the surfaces of worlds. It will also allow players to build and share customized missions.

Sims 3 Update! New Video and "Create a Style"

On the front page of The Sims 3 website, there's a great new video of some (very attractive) men and women working on The Sims 3. Who knew Ben Bell was such a hottie? Anyway, the video explains features as well as character design and game play. It also shows a lot of crazy people pretending to be sims!

There's also a blog entry today by producer Jennifer Lane about the "Create a Style" feature that will be in The Sims 3.
